What You Will Be Responsible For
In this role, you’ll help drive a culture of automation, reliability, and continuous improvement across our DevOps practices. You will:
* Design and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines, including reusable templates for data and ML workloads.
* Implement ML Ops workflows for deploying, monitoring, and retraining models on Azure Databricks.
* Integrate CI/CD into applications built in Python, C#, and JavaScript.
* Contribute to application‑level development and deployment processes.
* Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates.
* Build PowerShell automation modules to eliminate manual tasks.
* Manage secrets, environment variables, and secure access across environments.
* Monitor system health and deployment performance using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
Additional Requirements
* Hybrid working with occasional on‑site collaboration days.
* Participation in an on‑call or out‑of‑hours rota may be required depending on operational needs.
* Opportunity to work with specialist platforms including Databricks, Azure ML, and enterprise‑scale data tools.
Essential
What you’ll bring to the role
* Strong experience with Azure DevOps, including pipeline and template development.
* Hands‑on experience with ML Ops practices and tools such as Databricks or MLflow.
* Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, Azure CLI, and scripting for automation.
* Experience supporting application development in Python, C#, and JavaScript.
* Knowledge of Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, and CI/CD best practice.
* Azure certification (e.g., AZ‑400 or DP‑100).
Desirable
* Experience with Azure Data Factory, Event Hubs, and Key Vault.
* Knowledge of agile ways of working and DevOps culture.
