Position Overview:
The Maritime Personnel Coordinator (Crewing) Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless deployment and management of qualified mariners for company contracted vessels. This position primarily focuses on personnel logistics, encompassing crew travel arrangements, documentation, and compliance.
Responsibilities:
Verify Credentials:Verify crew USCG and STCW credentials to ensure compliance with industry standards.Validate regulatory, customer, and company training requirements.Maintain accurate personnel records for mariners through data entry into relevant systems (e.g., NS5) and documentation files.Travel Arrangements:Arrange and coordinate travel for mariners to/from vessels, adhering to company policies.Handle air, ground, or water taxi arrangements and lodging.Collaborate with travel agencies and vendors to secure cost-effective options.Booking Flights: Arrange air travel for crew members to join or leave vessels.
