About The Role
Please note that this is a full-time role working day shifts only - 44 hours per week. Full flexibility is required.
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. Your responsibilities will include planning and implementing care that provides residents with security, dignity, and independence. You will get to know residents and their families to deliver personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will maintain high standards of care and influence your team positively. Whether demonstrating how to use a walking frame, assisting at mealtimes, or communicating with families, kindness will guide your actions.
You will assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, and administer medication. Maintaining accurate records and building strong team relationships are key aspects of your role.
Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or equivalent and be willing to work towards Level 3. Experience in person-centered care planning and knowledge of dementia care are desirable. What’s essential is your positive energy, ability to get along with people, good record-keeping skills, time management, and a considerate, kind communication style.
