Position: Mobile Electrician
Location: M3 Corridor (Basingstoke, Milton Keynes, Oxford, Porstmouth, Bracknell area)
Salary: Up to GBP40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday Full:time, Permanent

We are a leading facilities management provider, dedicated to delivering exceptional maintenance services to our portfolio of commercial clients. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Maintenance Electrician to join our dynamic team, focusing on a key contract covering modern office spaces along the M3 corridor.

The Role
Responsibilities
As a Mobile Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a variety of commercial office buildings. Your daily tasks will include:
Carrying out PPMs and reactive maintenance on electrical systems, including lighting, power, emergency lighting, and fire alarm systems.
Conducting fault:finding and repairs to ensure minimal disruption to the client.
Performing minor electrical installations and project works.
Completing Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs).
Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with current Health and Safety legislation and the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
Maintaining clear and accurate records of all work completed.
The Ideal Candidate
Essential Qualifications
We are looking for a fully qualified and experienced electrician with a strong background in commercial maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess:
City and Guilds 2360 Parts 1 and 2, NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, or equivalent.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) certification.
Desirable Qualifications
City and Guilds 2391 (or 2394/2395) in Testing and Inspection.
Experience And Skills
Proven experience working in a similar maintenance role within commercial environments (offices, retail, etc.).
A full UK Driving Licence.
Excellent fault:finding, problem:solving, and diagnostic skills.
The ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively.
Strong communication skills and a professional, customer:focused attitude.
Willingness to participate in the on:call rota.
