Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated Laboratory Equipment IT Engineer to support and maintain Building Management, Clinical Manufacturing Equipment, and data acquisition/monitoring systems supporting Clinical Manufacturing and Research & Development (R&D). This role is part of Regeneron Cell Medicines (RCM), a newly formed R&D unit within Regeneron focusing on cell therapies and combination approaches in oncology and immunology. The successful candidate will serve as the technical SME and operate at system administration, engineering, and management levels.
Responsibilities include:
* Supporting manufacturing and QC equipment within RCM’s 30,000 SF Phase 1 clinical manufacturing facility
* Maintaining system documentation, converting User Requirement Specifications to Detail Design Specifications, writing Configuration Test Plans, and summary reports
* Leading IT application systems security access and audit trail reviews
* Investigating manufacturing deviations and anomalies related to automation and control systems
* Supporting engineering and validation projects, and manufacturing activities involving process control and monitoring software design, commissioning, and testing
* Updating/authoring system specifications, user and functional requirements, and generating FAT and SAT protocols
* Designing and developing test plans and implementing hardware/software improvements
* Ensuring data backup/archiving to meet RTO and RPO, and performing data recovery as needed
* Creating and maintaining configuration specifications for cGMP software
* Ensuring system compliance, change control, and validation activities
* Supporting system integration with existing systems like LIMS and Historian

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
* 3-5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, lab, or IT settings
* Experience in a pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility
* Experience with automated environmental monitoring systems; Rees experience is preferred
* GMP environment experience is highly advantageous
