Reporting to the Quality Manager - Logistics and working across all the activities (warehousing, transportation etc) in the Logistics arena, this exciting role will require the individual to:
* Complete and coach problem resolution inside Rolls-Royce and with our third party logistics provider.
* Accurately maintain KPIs on the performance of Logistics, support the governance meetings in which these KPIs are reviewed and use the knowledge behind the drivers of performance to stimulate improvement / recovery actions.
* Where appropriate, participate in / lead improvement projects to help ensure we are getting the best performance from our Logistics activities.
* Write / amend procedures and instructions that describe our Logistics activities to ensure they reflect best practice. Ensure compliance with those documents.
* Support the identification and mitigation of risks associated with our Logistics activities
