This is a newly created role due to the company’s expansion plan in the UK. You will be joining a newly set-up UK team to originate, evaluate and execute investment and development deals in the student housing and co-living sectors. Working with colleagues and partners in the UK and Singapore, you will support the company’s growth in the UK and Europe. Job Responsibilities Source investment and development opportunities in the student accommodation and co-living sectors Manage the end-to-end deal process from financial modelling, deal analysis, due diligence, to deal closing Prepare investment analysis and presentation materials for senior management and board members Build and strengthen the company’s relationships with brokers, developers, investors, and joint venture partners Monitor the progress of development projects alongside the company’s development partners and asset managers Collaborate with asset management team and operating partners to underwrite deal opportunities and re-positioning of existing assets Work with asset managers and portfolio managers on potential divestment opportunities Manage a cluster of assets and provide support to asset managers and portfolio managers where necessary Job Requirements Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in finance, accountancy, real estate, business or engineering Experienced in real estate investment and/or development Familiar with the UK student housing, co-living, build-to-rent or hospitality sectors Strong financial modelling skills and deep understanding of the return metrics are essential Good communication and presentation skills Curious and adaptable, with a commitment to continuous learning and personal development Please note that this role will be based in the UK
