Overview
Transformation Project Officer role within Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council. Hybrid position; 37 hours per week. Primary office in Welwyn Garden City (at least two days per week). Starting salary £38,350pa with potential progression to £41,254pa on achieving designated skills and experience. This role supports the delivery of the Transformation Strategy, combining project management with business analysis to identify, analyse, and recommend improvements, and to support management and delivery of changes.
Responsibilities
* Manage improvement projects and apply analytical skills of a business analyst to identify, analyse, and recommend business improvements.
* Support the management and delivery of change projects across the council, including service areas such as housing and environment.
* Engage with colleagues across the organisation at all levels and communicate clearly with a wide range of audiences.
* Provide accurate spoken English when advising members of the public.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Detail-oriented professional with strong collaboration skills across teams.
* Ability to work with a variety of people and demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Proven ability to converse with the public and provide accurate information in spoken English.
* Hybrid-working capability and willingness to work from the primary office in Welwyn Garden City at least two days per week.
