French speaking Accounting Manager
Location: Gloucester
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum

The Company:
A leading supplier and distributor in the manufacturing industry with international operations.
Main Duties:
To oversee day-to-day accounting operations across the UK and France, while leading the accounts team.
The Role:
- Lead and develop the accounts team, setting priorities and ensuring deadlines are met
- Oversee all accounting operations across legal entities, including multi-currency reconciliations, trial balance accuracy and debtor management
- Produce monthly, quarterly and year-end management accounts, including VAT, VIES and EU reporting
- Manage cashflow reporting and support annual budgeting and forecasting
- Maintain strong financial controls, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous process improvement through KPIs
- Assist in other assignments and projects when required, ensuring confidentiality at all times
The Candidate:
- Fluent in French (written and spoken)
- Previous experience in a Finance role
- AAT qualified would be an advantage
- Strong leadership skills
- Proactive, confident and dynamic personality
- IT literate with experience with Excel and Sage
