The Role
The successful candidate will:
Teach English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable).
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that foster a love of reading, writing, and communication.
Assess, track, and support student progress in line with school policies.
Contribute to the wider life of the English Department and school community through extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you need:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential.
A degree in English, English Literature, or a related subject.
Enhanced Child Only Dbs - or willingness to pay for one
Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching English.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
A commitment to raising standards and inspiring a love of learning.
