URGENT – Class 2 (Cat C) HGV Driver Required – LeicesterImmediate Start – Monday 5:00 AM Pertemps are urgently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 (Cat C) HGV Driver for a Monday start based in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work with the potential to become temp-to-perm after a successful 4-week trial period. Schedule
o Monday to Thursday – Stay-outs required
o Return Friday afternoon
o Early starts (5:00 AM)
o Paid while on stay-outs
o Parking allowance provided
o £25 food allowance if parking does not provide meals
The Role
o Driving an 18t curtain-sided vehicle
o Multi-drop deliveries
o Signing and completing paperwork
o Using CX app for deliveries
o Operating a pump truck when required
o Close and go deliveries
o No handballing required (only in worst-case scenarios)
o Vehicle checks and compliance with Drivers’ Hours & WTD regulations
Requirements
o Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence
o Minimum 1 year Class 2 driving experience
o Maximum 3 points on licence
o Valid CPC & Digi Tacho
o DVLA check required
o Safety boots
o Good understanding of Drivers’ Hours regulations
o Reliable and professional attitude
