We are currently recruiting for a Commis Chef to join the kitchen brigade at a beautiful venue in the heart of Buckingham. The Commis Chef will assist the senior Chefs in the preparation of food for multiple outlets, ensuring that the highest standards are maintained at all times.

40 hour contracted week

Our client is a conference, meeting and wedding venue within a historic Coaching Inn in the heart of Buckingham.
The Person
The ideal Commis Chef will have the following:
Solid experience in a fresh food kitchen as a Commis Chef
Experience in banqueting would be beneficial
A creative approach to seasonally changing menus and a busy multi outlet operation
High standards of cleanliness and task prioritisation.
A true passion for food and have the enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
True team spirit, enthusiasm and the right attitude will go a long way!
Have a thorough understanding of health & safety and food safety guidelines within the kitchen.
Possess a willingness to meet the high standards that are demanded from a luxury establishment.
As the hotel is located in the heart of Buckingham, having reliable means of transport to this area is essential.
