Tactical Response Officer Leeds – Argenbright Security Europe Limited - ASEL
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom
Hourly Rate: £12.60
Hours: 48 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Thursday – Sunday nights, 18:00 – 06:00 (plus overtime, Bank Holidays)
Key Responsibilities
* Respond promptly to alarm activations, assess and secure the scene, and liaise with emergency services as needed.
* Conduct keyholding duties and manage unattended lock‑ups and unlocking of premises at scheduled times.
* Carry out regular mobile and foot patrols across assigned sites or geographic zones to deter unauthorised activity.
* Ensure public safety by maintaining a visible, professional presence in diverse environments.
* Perform routine security checks, including perimeter rounds, internal inspections, and hazard identification.
* Serve as first responder to emergencies such as fires or medical incidents, applying first aid as trained.
* Manage checkpoint tagging or time‑stamped patrol routes to demonstrate presence across multiple locations.
* Maintain incident reports and security logs, ensuring accuracy for audits and client records.
* Maintain proper radio and communication contact, reporting updates or threats in real‑time.
* Continuously check and report on vehicle condition and equipment status, including before‑and‑after shift safety checks.
* Demonstrate a high level of situational awareness, professionalism, and adherence to security protocol.
Essential Requirements
* Full UK Manual driving licence – vehicle provided.
* Valid SIA licence.
* Experience in guarded services, preferably in retail security.
* Strong communication skills and professional appearance.
* Ability to handle conflict situations in a professional manner.
* One year of frontline security guarding experience.
* Good IT knowledge; confident in high‑pressure situations.
Desirable
* Additional SIA accreditations.
Knowledge and Experience
At least 1 year of frontline security guarding experience and familiarity with security protocols and technology.
