Jenson Fisher are delighted to be supporting our long standing client in Stirling to recruit a Qualified Management Accountant on a permanent, full time basis. In a role that has been created due to an internal promotion, our client are seeking a fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/CA) individual who has significant experience gained working within a fast paced, commercial environment.
Responsibilities
Reporting into the Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will be tasked with financial reporting and month end, budgeting and forecasting alongside business partnering with key stakeholders, assisting with annual audit and continuously improving processes and procedures.
* Preparation of monthly management accounts and all associated analysis and commentaries.
* Balance sheet reconciliations alongside maintenance of the fixed asset register.
* Preparation of VAT returns.
* Assist with budgeting and forecasting at periodic intervals through the financial year.
* Prepare commercial reports across the business in order to positively influence business decision making.
* Preparation of statutory accounts and year-end audit reporting requirements.
* Management of daily cash and banking across the business, ensuring that payments are made on time.
* Preparation of profit and loss statements.
* Project accounting as required across the business.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role it is essential that you are in possession of your full accounting qualification and can demonstrate use of this within a commercial environment. You will be strong using systems and keen to maximise efficiencies and, as a result, will consider yourself organised, professional and proactive in your work.
