Site Engineer - Groundworks Substructure Contractor Carrowhugh recruitment is currently recruiting for a site engineer to work on a large battery storage plant in Bridgewater, Somerset. This project is due to run until December 2026. The Sub-Structure specialist company have been established over 40 Years and take on Project's ranging in value from £5 million to £70 million. The successful candidate will have 3 years of dealing with similar Groundwork & RC Frame contractor type works and be extremely confident in their ability to set out. There is also a promise of more work for the right candidates as the company have a lot more up and coming projects. The Site Engineer - Groundworks Substructure Contractor will also assist with the management of : - Request for Information (RFI) - Supply of Information - Rebar Precast Other Key responsibilities of the Site Engineer - Groundworks Substructure Contractor : * Setting Out – groundworks & structural – Use of GPS, total station & automatic levels * Coordinating site drawings * Daily liaison with the project team, design team, and subcontractors * Monitoring and recording of materials, plant, and logistics * Implementing QA procedures, concrete pre/post pour checks, RFI’s and resolves technical issues * Record keeping and reporting * Assist in maintaining and monitoring safe working practices on site. Specific Requirements of the Site Engineer - Groundworks Substructure Contractor * Relevant Third level Degree * 3 experience in a similar role * Previous Sub-Contractor experience * Previous projects experience on Construction/Civil Engineering projects (Residential, RC Frame, Retail/Commercial, Pharma, Datacentre, Hi-Tech) * Proficient in the use of GPS, robotic total station, and levelling equipment is essential * Excellent IT skills – knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Navis works, Microsoft What's on offer for the Site Engineer - Groundworks Substructure Contractor Known as a company to look after their staff well, The company are willing to pay around the £(Apply online only) a shift for the right person.
