Make a Difference: Become a 1:1 Tutor in Maths, English or Science - Primary & Secondary (Start ASAP!)

At TP Tutors, we're offering an exciting opportunity for passionate educators to deliver 1:1 tuition in Maths, English, or Science to primary and secondary pupils in your area. Whether you're a qualified teacher, teaching assistant, or experienced tutor, this role is perfect if you're looking to make a real impact on a young learner's progress.
Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver tailored sessions focused on Maths, English or Science, adapted to each student's level and goals
2. Provide face-to-face support in the pupil's home, a local library, or an agreed community setting
3. Work with students who may need extra help catching up or building confidence in core subjects
4. Monitor progress, identify gaps in learning, and set achievable goals
5. Keep students motivated and engaged with creative, supportive teaching
6. Use positive behaviour strategies to ensure productive, focused sessions
Requirements:
* Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational setting
* Confident teaching Maths, English or Science at KS1-KS4 (depending on your specialism)
* Ability to tailor sessions to individual needs and learning styles
* Strong communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills
* Passion for helping pupils grow in confidence and ability
Additional Qualifications:
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply - we can assist)
* Right to work in the UK
