With your passion for excellent customer service, you could play a key role in the success of our schools' programme, which enable pupils of all ages to engage with some of the world's most famous heritage sites.
Working in the department which reports to the Hillsborough Castle & Gardens Public Engagement Manager you will assist the Site Co-ordinator at Hillsborough Castle & Gardens to provide the facilities, school group's meet and greet, and administration that ensures these programmes go ahead smoothly for our learning visitors.
You will have plenty of contact with visitors of all ages so you should be welcoming, enthusiastic, and flexible in your approach. You will also need to have well developed communication skills to ensure the success of this role in interacting and liaising with other departments across the site, particularly the Visitor Services, Operations & Security teams at Hillsborough Castle & Gardens, with whom you will have a close working relationship.
You will have experience of working in a busy customer-facing environment in a relevant sector and will be able to demonstrate your exceptional customer service skills. You will have a solution-based approach to dealing with any issues, queries or complaints. You'll be confident welcoming visitors of all ages, with a range of needs. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will be highly organised and able to plan and prepare, spaces, resources, and equipment to ensure our programmes run smoothly.
This role will particularly support our gardens sessions so working outside in a range of weather will be expected.
