As a Commercial Analyst, leverage your analytical expertise to provide actionable insights that directly impact business outcomes. Youll work closely with sales, finance, product, and operations teams to monitor KPIs, build forecasts, support pricing strategy, and optimise commercial performance. This is a high-impact role for a proactive, solutions-oriented professional who can prioritise based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver analytics and statistical modelling to shape commercial strategy and support measurable business outcomes.
Prepare sales and product forecasts, including OTE projections, to aid planning and resource allocation.
Track, analyse, and report on KPIs, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
Support pricing and product costing analysis to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
Develop and maintain business intelligence dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
Collaborate with global and cross-functional teams to provide actionable commercial insights.
Identify process improvements and leverage automation or AI tools to enhance efficiency.
Present findings to senior leadership, translating complex data into clear, impactful recommendations.
Ideally we would like you to have:
37 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or commercial analysis.
Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau) and statistical modeling.
Ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations for sales, finance, and product teams.
Commercial awareness, analytical mindset, and strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including presenting to senior leadership.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Knowledge of Salesforce CRM Analytics.
Experience in commercial, sales, or product-focused environments.
Familiarity with AI/ML tools, OTE modeling, or pricing strategy.
Certifications: Lean Six Sigma, Power BI, Tableau, or finance/commercial qualifications (CIMA/ACCA).
Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, or Computer Science.
Masters degree or relevant professional certifications are a plus.
