The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to join our finance team. This role will support the daily operations of the finance department, ensuring accuracy in financial records, timely processing of transactions, and assistance in reporting and analysis tasks.

Key Responsibilities
* Processing invoices, payments, and expense claims accurately and efficiently.
* Reconciling bank statements and company credit cards.
* Maintaining and updating financial records and ledgers.
* Assisting in preparation of monthly management accounts.
* Supporting the month-end and year-end close processes.
* Responding to internal and external finance queries.
* Collaborating with other departments to ensure financial procedures are followed.
* Providing administrative support to the finance and operations team as needed.
Required Skills & Experience
* Strong numeracy and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable
* Experience working in a fast-paced SME or finance department.
* Knowledge of basic financial compliance.
* Familiarity with finance systems and reporting tools.
