GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated KS1 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive school in Spalding. This role is ideal for both experienced practitioners and ECTs who are passionate about delivering high-quality education in Key Stage 1.
Role Overview:
As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons that build strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and social development. You will foster a safe and stimulating classroom environment that supports academic growth and personal confidence.
Role Responsibilities:
* Deliver the national curriculum to KS1 pupils in a creative and inclusive way.
* Provide differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
* Assess and track student progress, offering feedback to support achievement.
* Encourage positive behaviour and a love for learning.
* Engage with parents and colleagues to support each child’s development.
Requirements for KS1 Teacher:
* Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable.
* A solid understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
* Effective classroom management and strong communication skills.
* Passion for helping children succeed academically and personally.
* Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
