About the Administrator Role
Working within the very busy environment of the school office the successful candidate will be the first point of contact for parents/carers/visitors etc, either in person/by phone or emails and they will be able to manage the administration for the school, administer general medication to pupils, photocopy, have excellent organisational skills which are essential in order to handle the variety of tasks required to be undertaken.
The role will fit alongside another School Administrator who primarily works mornings.
We are looking for someone who…
* Is organised and efficient, with previous administration experience;
* An excellent communicator at all levels as you will liaise with parents, staff, contractors and visitors as well as line managing some members of staff
* Can work on their own initiative, with good problem solving skills;
* Has a good level of literacy, numeracy and IT skills;
* Is knowledgeable about office and admin systems and quick to learn school systems including the school’s Management Information System (Arbor), ParentHub (comms & payments) and CPOMs (safeguarding).
* Is adaptable, willing to learn, and able to work well within a team;
* Can prioritise their own work, show initiative, meet deadlines and maintain attention to detail;
* Is flexible due to the variety of work entailed;
* Is warm and welcoming, with a good sense of humour;
* Able to respect and protect confidentiality in all matters.
About the MSA role
Working over lunchtime to supervise the children both in the dining hall and outside on the playground/playing field. You will ensure that the children are encouraged with positive play and behaviour, engaging with them to ensure they are active and involved with their peers.
