Marlowe Kitchen Fire Suppression is looking for a capable and experienced management accountant to take charge of preparing, reviewing and reporting financial & business performance, and to analyse our productivity data. You will be responsible for monthly management accounts for review, ensuring accurate, conclusive and detailed management information is delivered. You will carry out forensic analysis of large volumes of data to provide insight into performance and margins. Key Responsibilities Responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts to a stage of completion that is ready to present for review within a strict deadline. Completion of an established reporting pack. Management of monthly ledger close. Liaising with management to resolve anomalies and explain results. Payroll journals. Comparison to budget. Short term forecasting and budgeting. Balance sheet reconciliations and journals. Work-in-progress analysis and review of contracts. Accruals and prepayments, accrued and deferred income transactions. Fixed assets and lease accounting. Reconciliation of stock counts. CIS returns. Cash flow management. VAT returns. Irish tax returns. Day-to-day supervision and cover for the Assistant Accountant when required. Requirements Who we’re looking for As well as having all the usual attributes of a great Marlowe Kitchen Fire Suppression employee, such as; a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, well presented and professional at all times, ability to work alone and as part of a team… For this specific opportunity, we are looking for candidates who offer: Qualified accountant, or qualified by experience (part-qualified) Proven experience in management accounting, ideally within a varied and hands-on role.
