Team Leader
Location: N15 6HR
Pay Rate: £20 per hour
Contract: Ongoing
Reporting to: Service Manager
Role Purpose
The Team Leader will be responsible for the day‑to‑day management of the service, ensuring high‑quality delivery in line with contractual, clinical, and statutory requirements. The role involves leading a team to deliver effective support services while maintaining best practice standards and promoting organisational values.
Key Responsibilities
Service Delivery & Quality
* Ensure the development and delivery of the service meets contractual requirements
* Maintain high standards of clinical practice within the service
* Ensure compliance with organisational policies, procedures, and statutory regulations
* Monitor and meet quality assurance and performance targets
* Ensure accurate record keeping, data collection, and reporting
Leadership & Team Management
* Provide strong leadership and direction to the team
* Manage staff performance through supervision, coaching, and development reviews
* Conduct inductions and ongoing support for team members
* Identify and address underperformance, supporting the Service Manager with performance management processes
* Assist with recruitment of staff and volunteers
Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement
* Develop and maintain effective relationships with commissioners and external service providers
* Represent the organisation and promote its services and values
Operational & Financial Management
* Support the management of the service budget
* Ensure effective resource allocation within the service
Professional Practice & Development
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments in the alcohol, drug, and gambling fields
* Participate in supervision, appraisals, and ongoing professional developmentAttend meetings, training sessions, and relevant events
