Overview

Driving is required for this role (UK Driving Licence). Allied Care is a compassionate healthcare provider delivering high-quality support services across England. Responsibilities

* Support adults with mental health conditions and learning disabilities in a care home environment, including daily living skills development and personal care.
* Assist with community-based activities and work with behaviours that may present as challenging.
* Work as part of a team to maintain a safe, comfortable and person-centred environment.
* Collaborate with clients, families and healthcare partners to develop tailored care plans and ensure quality of life.


Qualifications and Training

* NVQ 2 and experience welcomed; if no experience, training is provided with the opportunity to gain NVQ upon passing probation.
* Excellent ongoing paid training from day one and throughout your career.
* UK work eligibility without restriction and no sponsorship required.
* Driving licence is required for this role.

About Ashington House / Ashgate

Ashington House and Ashgate are registered care homes within Allied Care, dedicated to providing care 24/7 with shift patterns described as 7.5 hour shifts for a 37.5 hour per week contract. Part-time contracts with enhanced rates over time may be available. We maintain small, personalised homes and encourage staff feedback to support growth and continuous improvement.
