Moorside High School is seeking to appoint an ambitious and skilled Assistant Headteacher to lead and develop Teaching, Learning and Assessment across the school. The successful candidate will play a key strategic role in continuing to drive high-quality classroom practice, strengthening assessment for learning and ensuring consistently strong outcomes for all students. Working closely with the Head of School and senior leadership team, you will support staff development, use evidence-informed practice to secure improvement, and contribute to the wider leadership of the school. The successful candidate will also lead on the ITT programme and support with the Trust’s delivery of TeachFirst. We are looking for an outstanding practitioner with a proven track record of raising standards, the ability to inspire and support colleagues, and a commitment to inclusive, high‑quality education for every student.
