Underwriter We’re looking for an Underwriter to join our growing team. With over 30 years in the industry, HomeLet is the industry leading brand supporting the UK’s vibrant private rented sector. Responsible for a group of accounts in your region, you will represent Let Alliance and HomeLet. Part of Barbon Insurance group Ltd. What you’ll be doing You will be handling the day-to-day of general underwriting queries & renewals within the underwriting department. Particular focus on Senior level referrals, supporting the Junior members of the team, supporting with auditing, leading and coaching Junior members of the team. You will be handling referrals within delegated authority and protecting the insurance books of business from risk. What we’re looking for Proven insurance experience. Knowledge and have a background in coaching and delegated authority schemes. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Professional communication skills, both verbally and written. Professional qualifications (CII/Dip CII).
