Our beautiful venue in Bicester Village is seeking a talented Junior Sous Chef to join our warm and welcoming back-of-house team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of your section in a dynamic kitchen, contribute to menu development, and help deliver the Ottolenghi experience.
As a Junior Sous Chef at Ottolenghi Bicester Village, you will:
* Assist the Sous & Head Chefs in daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
* Ensure high standards of food quality and presentation
* Contribute to menu development and creative recipe ideas
* Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
* Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff
The ideal Junior Sous Chef will be:
* Passionate about food, with a creative approach to preparing dishes
* A strong team player who enjoys collaborating with others and is confident in leading their section
* Able to manage your section with precision and attention to detail
* Experienced in a similar role, ideally in a high-quality, fast-paced kitchen
* Knowledgeable about food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring the highest level of cleanliness in the kitchen
