Description
Pod is one of the UK’s leading EV charging providers, trusted by more than 250,000 customers and powering over five million electric miles every single day. Behind these numbers is a dedicated team working together to build a cleaner, smarter and more sustainable energy future. As part of the EDF family, the UK’s largest generator of zero carbon electricity, we have the scale and stability to grow with confidence while continuing to innovate.
We partner with major automotive brands, national homebuilders and some of the UK’s biggest retailers to deliver smart charging solutions that support drivers, balance the grid and make clean energy accessible for all. Our mission is simple, to manage the flow of energy in a way that benefits both people and the planet.
If you want to join a purpose driven organisation where Truth, Edge and Care shape how we work, we’d love to meet you.
This is a brilliant opportunity for somebody who loves solving data problems, improving systems, and making people’s work easier through automation. You’ll become our HubSpot data specialist, the person people turn to when something needs to be understood, fixed, automated, or improved.
Responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for:
HubSpot Ownership & Data Quality
you’ll serve as a HubSpot “power user/admin partner” supporting data quality, schema consistency, and reporting enablement, including:
* Manage data imports, migrations, deduplication, and field mapping, defining required fields and maintaining change history
* Build and maintain HubSpot workflows, automations, and notifications to increase adoption and reduce manual effort
* Oversee how HubSpot integrates with other tools, managing bidirectional data flows and helping ensure data moves reliably from A to B.
Operational Reporting & Business Insights
you’ll own recurring reporting outputs, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and robust documentation, including:
* Produce partner reporting, network KPIs, and operational insights that support decision‑making across departments
* Support data governance workflows including DSAR/DSER handling and secure, auditable data retrieval
* Monitor production and supply‑chain‑related data issues and coordinate fixes in partnership with system owners.
Integrations, Automation & Systems Improvement
you’ll identify high-value integration opportunities between HubSpot and internal systems, including:
* Scoping, testing and safely rolling out improvements
* Use lightweight scripting (Python/JavaScript), API integrations, low‑code tooling, or AI‑assisted approaches to automate processes
* Identify opportunities to streamline or automate day‑to‑day reporting, operational data tasks, and cross‑system workflow
* Support the wider digital transformation programme, including data cleansing, migration, and system modernisation tasks.
What You'll Bring
We think the role would be great for somebody who has strong data skills and confidence working with structured datasets as well as:
* Experience querying and manipulating data using SQL
* Hands‑on experience with HubSpot (admin/config/reporting/workflows)
* Clear communication skills, able to gather requirements, document processes, and engage with stakeholders effectively
* A pragmatic, exploratory, can‑do mindset with strong problem‑solving ability
* Experience with scripting languages (Python or JavaScript) or API usage to automate tasks.
Skills that would really make your application stand out (but are not essential)
* Experience with data tooling or orchestration pipelines (e.g., Dagster) or supporting data engineering teams
* Familiarity with data governance or privacy workflows (DSAR/DSER)
* Experience in automation-first working, low‑code/no‑code tools, or AI‑supported problem solving.
