Detailed job description and main responsibilities To provide continuing responsibility for the care of patients under their care and for the proper organisation and functioning of clinical practice. To work closely with other specialties, departments and outside agencies to deliver the objectives of the department and the CMG. To take responsibility for ensuring that critical clinical incidents, as defined in the Trust's 'Critical Incident Policy', are reported in a timely manner. • Maintenance of the highest clinical standards in the management of patients. To share with colleagues responsibility for the day to day management of patients. To promote new ways of working and co-ordinating care for patients in the community and to ensure that the services are based on effective and integrated partnerships across the health community. To proactively develop the service and actively participate in both departmental and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance and audit. The current price of a check is £38 for an enhanced and £18 for a standard check.
