About the Role
Aramark UK is currently recruiting a Food Service Assistant to join our team at New College Doncaster. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced catering environment and delivering excellent customer service.
As a Food Service Assistant, you will support both front and back of house operations, including food preparation, service, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve food and beverages to customers, following portioning and presentation standards
* Prepare cold food and made-to-order items, including hot sandwiches
* Operate tills and handle payments
* Restock goods and maintain merchandise displays
* Clean crockery, cutlery, counters, equipment, and public areas
* Report feedback, complaints, stock needs, faults, or hazards to the line manager
* Complete daily paperwork and maintain accurate records
* Follow food hygiene and health & safety procedures
* Undertake relevant training as required

Skills & Requirements
* Enhanced DBS required
* Term time only (equated pay)
* Previous experience is helpful but not essential - full training will be provided
