CAREERS CO-ORDINATOR
30 hours per week, term time only plus 2 INSET days
B&NES Grade 3 (£17,583 per annum minimum gross starting salary) or B&NES Grade 4 (£18,146 per annum minimum gross starting salary) depending on qualification held
An exciting opportunity for a creative and proactive individual to join our Student Support Team as a Careers Co‑ordinator. This is a full‑time, permanent post.
Having achieved excellent results in summer 2025, Buckler's Mead Academy is going from strength to strength. Our most recent Ofsted, in May 2024, judged us as a strong “Good” in all areas.
Responsibilities*
* Administer Work Experience, Higher Education Month and visits, and Work‑Related Talent Academies
* Organise and co‑ordinate Careers Events
* Provide Careers information, advice and guidance to students
Qualifications & Skills
* Good level of education, including GCSE English and Mathematics
* Outstanding communication skills – both written, oral and interpersonal with adults and children
* Good ICT skills
* Ability to work independently and use own initiative
* Strong organisational skills
* Desirable: Level 6 Diploma in Career Guidance and Development, or willingness to train for the qualification
