Recruitment Coordinator

Salary: £28,000 per annum (pro rata)
Hours: 30 per week (part-time)
Location: In person

Overview:
The Recruitment Coordinator will manage the full recruitment process to attract the right Care Assistants and Cleaners, ensuring Bright Dawn Home Care and Solihull Professional Cleaning provide the highest quality service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

* Answer employment enquiries in a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable manner

* Develop and implement recruitment strategies, including advertising, community events, and cold calling

* Update job boards and company website with recruitment adverts

* Schedule and conduct applicant interviews efficiently and professionally

* Create and maintain employment records

* Obtain professional and character references, DBS checks, and, where applicable, motor vehicle insurance checks for all new Care Assistants

* Schedule, book, and conduct inductions and training for Care Assistants and Cleaners, including Bright Dawn Home Care and Solihull Professional Cleaning orientation

* Prepare Care Assistants / Cleaners folders and ensure all references and DBS checks are completed before induction

* Meet monthly recruitment targets

* Promote recruitment in the local community via flyers and job fairs

* Update marketing materials (brochures, incentives, banners) to reflect the company’s services and professional image

* Ensure HR standards, employment compliance, and health & safety regulations are upheld

* Conduct initial Care Assistants supervisions at 4, 8, and 12 weeks alongside the Deputy Manager

* Provide certificates for completed induction training

* Participate in staff disciplinaries as required

* Provide introductory training for new Care Assistants and ensure all induction training is completed before probation start

* Maintain training matrix and ensure staff complete required training annually
