We are looking for a proven Business Development Manager to join the successful team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record and demonstrate enthusiasm, passion and a drive to generate Sales.

This highly commercial, visible, and client facing role is key to the delivering our growth objectives and will be a focal point for generating new business, exploring new markets, identifying potential partnerships and products for the future business.

Key Role Aspects
As our new Business Development Manager:
* You will be eager and innovative when engaging with customers to understand their challenges and requirements.
* You will support in maintaining and growing our customer base for vehicle thermal solution sales, focusing on UK, Ireland & Europe.
* Ideally you will bring experience in the thermal solutions industry. While although not essential, a technical engineering mind/background is beneficial.
* Responsible for accurately managing CRM data and market reports. Developing new prospects, creating strategy and growing sales.
* Proactively visiting customers, events, and driving a productive outreach to generate new project leads.
* You will be conducting market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs. Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media.
Responsibilities and accountabilities
1. Support and assist the BDD to maximise sales opportunities.
2. Identify, create and win new accounts within agreed territory.
3. Support, build and manage the identified sales pipelines.
4. Maximise sales profits and revenues to ensure budgetary targets are met/exceeded.
5. Introduce and support the introduction of promotional activities within the territories, including input and support for communications events (exhibitions, conferences, etc) as required.
6. Key understanding and ability to negotiate and close a deal.
7. Provide update monthly to the BDM with respect to Key Client Activity and outlook for the next 3,6 and 12 months

Essential Skills:
· Previous experience in thermal systems and solutions industry desirable.
· Previous experience as Business Development focussed role, minimum of 5+ years.
· Proven track record of success – delivering sales results.
· Excellent at understanding and evaluating customer needs.
· Proven client facing skills; ability to complete a sale.
· The ability to listen to potential clients' needs and target their requirements in a professional and consultative manner.
· Results-driven with attention to detail.
· Flexibility in adapting to changing priorities and working to deadlines.
· Self-motivated, use of own initiative, meeting tight deadlines, whilst demonstrating diplomacy.
· Great communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Excellent Microsoft user (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
· Full UK driving licence required.
