Offer description

Protocol Education are looking for creative, confident, and compassionate people to join secondary schools as Drama Youth Workers. You’ll work closely with pupils who need a bit more encouragement, using the drama techniques you know well to build trust, boost confidence, and support learning.

This role is perfect if you're a TA with a performing arts background, or someone who's worked in theatre, youth work, or creative education.

Your day-to-day could include:

* Supporting students 1:1 and in small groups

* Using drama-based activities to build engagement

* Helping pupils express themselves, manage emotions, and grow in confidence

* Assisting in lessons or leading drama interventions

What we're looking for:

* Experience working with young people (doesn't have to be in a school)

* Background in theatre, drama, performing arts, or creative youth work

* Strong communication skills and an empathetic approach

* Ability to think and act on your feet

Why Protocol?:

* Weekly PAYE Pay

* We don't use an umbrella company, so there will be no hidden deductions from your payslip

* Personal support from a friendly, local consultant

* Opportunities to work in schools that value your creative background
