School Counsellor (self employed) We are seeking a self-employed School Counsellor for September 2025 to provide a part-time Counselling service to the school. This will be part of a multidisciplinary team that supports the physical, mental and emotional wellbeing of pupils at Cranleigh, the School Counsellor will provide a professional, flexible and confidential counselling service to pupils. It is expected that the Counsellor will visit the school during hours to be agreed with flexibility in terms of days and hours, although generally appointments take place in the afternoon or early evening during term time, to provide counselling to pupils referred by the school to fit in with school timetables. There may be opportunities to help on Saturday mornings with parental group carousels. The successful applicant will have experience in working with young people and have the relevant counselling qualifications, have appropriate professional indemnity insurance and be a member of a professional body.
