Aberlour Options Moray is a community-based service for children/young people with learning disabilities, offering residential, respite short breaks, family-based care and community support matched with the individual needs of every young person.
About Aberlour Youthpoint Moray
Our Youthpoint Moray service provides help to children and young people in Moray who may be struggling with their emotions and behaviour, prompting concerns about their well-being. Aberlour Youthpoint Moray offers a range of services which works with young people aged 12-25 which include our Intensive Community Support and Early Help Services. In addition to these we have developed a new service YP-Zone, the purpose of this service is to improve the wellbeing, social integration and life chances of Young People affect by substance misuse in Moray.
What we are looking for....
We are looking to recruit a Service Administrator to work 22.5 hours per week across our two Moray based services. These hours can be worked flexibly in agreement with the Lead Administrator and will be primarily 3 days per week, between Monday-Friday, office hours. This role will be office based and will be based in our Moray services in Elgin.
The role of as Service Administrator is very varied within Aberlour, you will have general administrative tasks such as financial administrative tasks, ordering office equipment and supporting with our file recording systems. Your job is also about supporting and working with people. For many of our families, our Service Administrators are their first point of contact - as they are usually there to welcome them into our offices! Our young people look forward to meeting our Service Administrators as they are always greeted with a smile. Our administrators are at times a point of contact for families/partners who are looking for urgent help and must respond in an appropriate, friendly and helpful manner.
Ideally you will have administrative experience gained through working within a busy office or social care environment. You will be comfortable working with all Microsoft Office packages, including Excel, and be able to create spreadsheets and deal with numerical information. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills. You will have a relevant professional qualification at SCQF level 7 or equivalent experience of working in a busy office.
