Offer description

About the Role

All applicants need to submit a CV and a covering letter on why you should be considered for this role. Applications will not be accepted if no covering letter is included.

The current closing date is 25th August 2025, however, please note that this role may close early should sufficient applications be received, so early application is advised.

We are part of a large integrated drug and alcohol service working with some of Cornwall's most excluded and disadvantaged people. Successful candidates will also work alongside in-house services which include community, clinical, criminal justice and a residential rehabilitation facility.

WithYou is all about working with our clients to find the right path for them to get back to where they want to be, and you will be joining an amazing team of people who go the extra mile to make that happen.

Working within one of our services is always busy, sometimes challenging but always rewarding. We work collaboratively to provide the best support and treatment to anyone who needs it, so why don't you apply to be part of something great!

Job Opportunity

The Housing Support Grant (HSG) is a project supporting clients with drug and alcohol issues who are also at risk of losing their tenancy. To be eligible, clients need to be in temporary, supported, emergency or private rented accommodation.

You will be a resilient and committed individual who has an understanding of the problems faced by individuals finding themselves homeless or in insecure accommodation.

We work alongside the community teams and with external agencies to support our clients to prevent homelessness. The focus is to support in any way that the client needs to help them remain accommodated.

Should you be successful in your application, you will be required to provide 3 years worth of references and where applicable, will need to undergo an enhanced DBS check.

As an organisation, we continue to build an inclusive culture that encourages, supports and celebrates the diverse voices and experiences of our staff. We know that representing the communities we serve is key to us meeting our goals of radically improving people's lives. We welcome the unique contributions that you can bring and we encourage people from underrepresented communities and backgrounds to apply to join our team, including people with lived experience, people with disabilities, people from racialised communities, LGBTQ+ people, people of all ages and armed forces veterans.
