Security Officer Job Description
Maintain overall surveillance of the site, carrying out regular site patrols and recording these as per Corps and Customer requirements.
Ensure all visitors and contractors are correctly briefed, sign in and out of the site, and record the entry and exit of deliveries, including processing paperwork in line with site quality procedures.
Carry out patrols to the correct standards and set/unset primary and secondary alarm security systems for out-of-hours security if applicable.
Comply with site waste management procedures and complete required documents such as daily logs, shift handovers, incident/accident records, and site-specific reports.
Be familiar with Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments, and other safety documents; advise management or client personnel on improvements.
Maintain your training records via the Corps Colleague Portal, ensuring skills, especially first aid and fire marshal training, are up to date.
Apply your SIA skills professionally, keeping your license displayed at all times, and perform ad hoc duties as directed.

Candidate Requirements
* Excellent communication skills and customer focus.
* Valid SIA Front-Line License (essential).
* Valid SIA CCTV License (desirable).
* Ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
* Vetting to BS7858 Standards.
