Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and nurturing team at a welcoming primary school in Congleton.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is committed to making a positive impact in the early years, working closely with the class teacher to support learning, play, and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
About the role:
* Supporting the class teacher in delivering high-quality learning experiences for EYFS pupils
* Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
* Assist with planning and preparation of activities, both indoor and outdoor
* Work with small groups and individuals to support early literacy, numeracy, and social skills
* Observe and monitor pupil progress and contribute to learning journals
* Provide care and pastoral support in line with safeguarding policies
We are looking for someone who:
* Has experience working in an EYFS or early childhood setting (Level 2 or 3 qualification desired but not essential)
* Demonstrates a caring, patient, and energetic approach
* Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Is committed to the wellbeing and progress of every child
* Understands the EYFS curriculum and principles of early childhood development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
