Description:
We are looking for a safety‑focused Van Driver to join our team and support the delivery and collection of goods across the region. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road, providing excellent customer service.
We welcome applications from drivers of all licence classes, including those with standard Category B licences as well as C1, C, and CE. If you’re confident behind the wheel and have a good attitude, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
1. Safely operate a company van to deliver and collect goods in a timely manner
2. Follow delivery schedules efficently
3. Load and unload items carefully, ensuring goods are secure and undamaged
4. Complete delivery paperwork and update electronic systems when required
5. Carry out basic vehicle checks before and after each shift
6. Maintain a clean, professional vehicle
7. Provide friendly, professional customer service to clients and delivery recipients
8. Report any issues, delays, or vehicle defects promptly
9. Follow all road safety regulations, company policies, and driving legislation
Requirements
10. Full UK driving licence
11. No more than 6 penalty points
12. Good time‑management and organisational skills
13. Physically fit and able to handle manual loading and unloading
14. Ability to work independently
15. Strong communication and customer service skills
