Summary
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at Holiday Inn. This role is essential in ensuring our guests have a memorable stay at our hotel located in the heart of the city. You will play a vital role in upholding our mission of providing exceptional service and hospitality.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for setting up and clearing down conference rooms and banqueting rooms ranging from 10 to 250 people.
* Assisting with tea and coffee breaks and food service.
* May be required to assist with setting up and restocking banqueting bar.
* Must be attention to detail orientated to ensure that the rooms are set to a high standard.
* Will include evenings and weekends depending on conference and banqueting occupancy.
* May be called upon to assist the guests with any requirements.
* Please note that this position requires the applicant to be physically fit as it requires the moving of tables and chairs and dance floors as and when required.
Works closely with the Food and Beverage Management team to ensure that the rooms are ready on time.
* Qualifications
* Proven experience in customer service or hospitality roles.
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Friendly demeanour with a passion for helping others.
