Staff Meals Assistant – About you
* Experience in restaurant/ food service desirable
* Confidence, enthusiasm and passion for your work and communication with colleagues
* A keen eye for detail, organisational skills and a flexible attitude
* You will be available to work evenings during the week and/or weekend daytimes
Aim of the Staff Meals Assistant role
To provide a welcoming service of staff meals in a clean environment within the staff canteen.
Key responsibilities of the Staff Meals Assistant
* Thoroughly clean the dining area and serving cabinets in the staff canteen
* Take pride in ensure cutlery and crockery is arranged ready for service, checking for cleanliness
* Restock food items, crockery and cutlery and wipe down surfaces, in between sittings, as and when required
* Be confident in serving hot food to staff members, ensuring portion control and presentation
* Clear away leftover food items after service, ensuring that any items needed for the evening service are covered and refrigerated
* Clean cabinets and surfaces, brush and mop floor and re-stock cutlery and crockery after service
