Are you a Facilities Coordinator looking to step up into an Assistant Facilities Manager role with a fast–growing company?
I am currently supporting a growing Facilities Management business with their recruitment for an Assistant Facilities Manager to join their team in Newport.
This is a great opportunity to join a well–established and expanding business, working closely with senior management and playing a key role in the day–to–day running of FM operations across multiple contracts.
Responsibilities:
* Supporting the Head of FM with the day–to–day management of contracts
* Coordinating planned (PPM) and reactive maintenance works
* Managing and prioritising incoming jobs via email, phone, and CAFM systems
* Overseeing office functions and supporting the FM Administrator
* Maintaining strong client relationships and providing regular updates
* Assisting with quotations, scheduling, and general operations
* Supporting monthly invoicing and basic financial administration
Skills & Experience:
* Experience within Facilities Management or a similar environment
* Strong organisational and problem–solving skills
* Excellent communication and customer–facing ability
* Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast–paced environment
* Good attention to detail
* Experience with CAFM systems (desirable)
* Hands–on and flexible approach
