Quantity Surveyor / Estimator – Heathrow Airport – Up to £80,000
Location: Heathrow Airport (Office-Based) & Support at Gatwick Airport
Salary: £55,000 – £80,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
We are currently representing a well-established and highly regarded facilities and construction specialist, operating for over a decade across prestigious commercial sectors including airports, showrooms, and luxury retail. Due to continued growth and secured long-term contracts, they are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join their team on a permanent basis, based at Heathrow Airport.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-end commercial projects—primarily focused on airport lounges—within a secure and structured environment.
Role Overview:
You will play a key role in the estimation and tendering of projects, collaborating with subcontractors, suppliers, and the internal team. Responsibilities include:
* Preparing cost estimates, quotations, and project budgets
* Surveying sites and evaluating subcontractor quotations
* Researching materials, labour, and equipment costs
* Analysing data, prices, and market trends using software tools
* Identifying and assessing project risks and pricing accordingly
* Working closely with the project delivery team to ensure accurate forecasting and cost control
Candidate Requirements:
* Background in construction estimating or quantity surveying
* Experience delivering high-end commercial or fit-out projects
* Excellent numerical and analytical skills
* Proficient in using estimating software and Microsoft Office
* Strong communication skills and attention to detail
