About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an EYFS/Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming and community-focused primary school located in the Rossendale Valley. This role is a 4-day-per-week position, working predominantly within Year 1, alongside a small EYFS group.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed teacher who is passionate about early years and KS1 education, and who is eager to make a meaningful impact within a supportive school environment.
The position is offered on an initial one-year fixed-term contract and is open to both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced practitioners.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Be passionate about EYFS and KS1 education
Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills
Be committed to delivering engaging and effective learning experiences
Work well as part of a supportive team
Be adaptable, enthusiastic, and reflective in their practice
