Overview

Due to our current employee retiring we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Administrator to join our showroom team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the sales department by managing administrative tasks, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring the smooth operation of sales processes. This position requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in various software applications.

Duties

* Provide comprehensive administrative support to the sales team, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
* Manage customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service to enhance client satisfaction.
* Maintain and update records in CRM software, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
* Prepare sales reports and presentations using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Assist in the coordination of sales activities, including scheduling meetings and managing calendars through Microsoft Outlook.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and support for sales initiatives.
* Handle order processing and follow up on deliveries to ensure timely fulfilment.
* Utilise Excel for financial reporting and inventory management as required.
* Support the sales team with IT-related queries and maintain computer literacy across various platforms.

Qualifications

* Proven experience in sales administration or a similar administrative role.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
* Familiarity with CRM software is highly desirable.
* Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Strong time management abilities to prioritise workload efficiently.
* A solid understanding of customer service principles and practices.
* Basic IT knowledge to assist with technical issues as they arise.
