We are working with a well-established corporate organisation in Edinburgh to recruit a highly organised and service-focused Meetings & Events Coordinator to support their busy workplace operations.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced professional environment, coordinating meeting spaces and events from enquiry through to delivery. You will play a key role in ensuring that internal and external events run smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest possible standard.
The Role
As Meetings & Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for the seamless management of meeting rooms, event bookings, and associated facilities. Duties will include:
Managing bookings for meeting rooms, conference spaces, and on-site facilities
Coordinating event requirements, including room layouts, catering, and technical support
Acting as the main point of contact for event enquiries, ensuring clear and timely communication
Liaising with internal departments and service partners to deliver smooth event operations
Maintaining accurate booking systems and records
Preparing event documentation, schedules, and client confirmations
Supporting on-the-day event delivery and troubleshooting where required
Ensuring all spaces are presented to a high corporate standard
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a candidate who:
Has previous experience in meetings, events, hospitality, or corporate coordination
Is exceptionally organised with strong administrative skills
Communicates clearly and confidently with stakeholders at all levels
Has strong attention to detail and can manage multiple bookings simultaneously
Demonstrates a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
Is comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
