Gower College Swansea is one of the largest colleges in Wales with a strong reputation for high quality teaching and learning. We have six campuses across the city with over 4,500 full time learners and 10,000 part time learners. Full-Time Equivalent Salary: £25,371 - £49,934 per annum dependent on qualifications and experience.
The role:
1. The Built Environment team are looking for a Plumbing Lecturer.
2. Hourly paid up to 37 hours per week
3. Fixed term for 3 months
4. £17.53 - £34.51 per hour, dependent of qualifications and experience
5. Tycoch campus
Key Responsibilities:
6. Plan, prepare and teach across levels, ranging from Level 1 to Level 3.
7. Ensure teaching and learning strategies and teaching materials are planned and meet the varied needs of all learners.
8. Assess and monitor learner progress, including the setting of targets, maintaining records or work and achievements.
9. Ensure the learning environment is inspiring and maintain industry links to enhance the learner experience.
About you:
10. Passion for the industry and teaching and learning.
11. Passionate about the holsitic development of each individual learner and groups of learners.
12. Represent the college in a professional manner displaying integrity at all times.
13. Possess a level 3 qualification in Plumbing.
