Are you an inspirational Class Teacher with a passion for making a difference? GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join a supportive school in Blandford from September 2025 as a Class Teacher.

About the role:
As a Class Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting and guiding students through their educational journey. You will lead a class team, contribute to the school's inclusive ethos, and help shape the future of learners with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons based on student needs.
* Monitor, assess, and report on student progress and development.
* Provide support and guidance on educational, social, and emotional issues.
* Foster student well-being and academic growth.
* Communicate effectively with parents, governors, and external stakeholders.
* Collaborate with school leadership and peers on curriculum and teaching methods.
* Promote and maintain discipline, safety, and a supportive learning environment.
* Participate in school events, administrative duties, and staff development sessions.
* Uphold school policies, including safeguarding and data protection.
* Mentor and support new teachers, set targets, and contribute to staff development.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Bachelor s degree (Master s degree desirable)
* Training or qualifications in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
* Experience working with young people with additional needs
