Job description:
Traffic Management Operative – Okehampton
Our client requires Traffic Management Operatives in the Okehampton area to carry out tasks such as setting up temporary traffic lights, manning road closures and using a stop/go board and other Traffic Management roles.
Successful candidates for the role of TM Operative should have:-
1. Ability to work as part of a team
2. Ability to carry out work to a high standard
3. Good communication skills
Applicants must have:
4. TTMBC or above
5. Good timekeeping skills
6. Willingness and flexibility to undertake some shifts out of normal working hours
7. Willingness to carry out other tasks upon request
8. Driving License (Preferred)
Hours of work:
Monday – Friday, days or nights.
Rate of Pay:
9. £ per hour
These will be PAYE positions so you will benefit from:
10. Accrued Holiday Pay from day one
11. Pension contributions (after a qualifying period)
12. Weekly Pay
13. Overtime at overtime rates
14. No umbrella payments or fees
15. Only Tax and National Insurance deductions and this will be shown on your payslip.
This will start as a temporary role, but will become permanent after 3 months. So
